Chapters of Gold is a little book of commentary that I was asked to write in order to help raise funds for Westminster Cathedral. The mosaics are high up around the Lady Chapel, very beautiful and very difficult to see. The photographer, Gered Mankowitz, stood on scaffolding and I went up with him. They are really lovely, simple and human and moving. In my commentary I found myself emphasising the importance of Mary in the development of the Christian story. A little bit of feminism coming out.
